Questions concerning sleeping bags

When can I first put my baby in a sleeping bag?
From a couple of weeks old, your baby can already sleep in the 'Small' size of Obibo sleeping bags. Most parents switch to sleeping bags when the baby starts to turn around or move around in the crib. The advantage of a sleeping bag is that the baby cannot toss the blankets of himself /herself and get cold.

Which size sleeping bag is appropriate for my baby?
In our size overview is indicated what size sleeping bag is appropriate for your baby. Our key safety consideration is to ensure that babies cannot slip down inside the Sleep&Go sleeping bag. Therefore, we design the neck size and arm breaches to be as large as possible to allow comfort and heat loss.

How to use a sleeping bag?
All inner lining of Obibo sleeping bags are made of nice warm flannel (100% cotton) and our sleeping bags are warm enough to use at room temperature (between 16 and the 18 degrees Celsius). Depending on how warm or cold it is, you can choose to use an extra blanket or sheet.

Most baby's wear a bodysuit and pyjama. We recommend you to always buy the correct size when buying a sleeping bag. The bigger the sleeping bag, the bigger the arm breaches and neck opening. You must always take care not to allow your baby's head to slip down and get covered by any bedding, whether that bedding is an Obibo baby sleeping bag, blankets or sheets.

Why a baby sleeping bag?
As baby's get older they start to roll around and move around in the crib. Often you will find them fast asleep in the corner of the crib . In this case a sleeping bag is the ideal solution, because then the baby does not get cold.

How do you use the Obibo Sleep&Go sleeping bag in the car?
When you would like to put your baby with the Obibo Sleep&Go sleeping bag on in the car seat, you first open the zipper at the back. Next you put your baby in the car seat and open the zipper at the front with about 10cm. Now you can put the belt of the5-point harness between the legs of the baby. You can now fasten the belt and are ready to go!

In which car seat can the Obibo Sleep&Go sleeping bag be used?
The Obibo sleeping bags can be used in all commonly used car seats. For example the Small size fits perfectly in the portable Maxi Cosi car seat. But of course also in portable car seats of other brands. The Medium size not only fits in the portable car seats, but also in the fixed car seats of Maxi Cosi, Römer and other manufacturers. Our Large size fits in all common fixed car seats.

Does my baby feel the zipper at the back?
The zipper at the back (to create an opening for the 5-point harness) is covered on the inside of the sleeping bag with super soft lining. For this reason your baby will not feel the zipper at all. Also the zipper is located below the baby's bottom, so he/she does not sit on it while in the car seat.

Questions concerning nursing pillows and covers

The nursing pillow cover fits on which pillows?
We have two sizes nursing pillow covers. The 'Normal' size cover fits around the Obibo nursing pillows, but also around the nursing pillows of other brands, such as Hema and Prenatal (Big Comfy).

For extra thick nursing pillows, such as the Form Fix and Jollein nursing pillows, we have the size 'Large' cover. Nursing pillows are in general 180cm long. So that you can put them around you, while nursing the baby. Some brands also have small pillows. Our nursing pillow covers only fit around most common nursing pillows of 180cm long.
